Overview:
The 2024 Elan Ripstick 106 is a high-performance freeride/all-mountain ski that delivers serious float, grip, and responsiveness. With its 106 mm waist, asymmetric rocker profile (Amphibio), and generous carbon & fiberglass reinforcements, it’s built to handle deep snow, variable terrain, and steep, technical lines while still maintaining agility and edge hold.
Target Skier:
Advanced to expert skiers who want one ski that can do it all: surf powder, carve firm snow, slash through trees, and charge hard at high speeds. Also suitable for lighter skiers or those who want freeride capability without the bulk of the widest powder skis.
Key Features:
Performance:
The Ripstick 106 offers a powerful yet surprisingly nimble ride. It floats beautifully in powder, responds quickly in soft snow, transitions sharply in mixed terrain, and holds up well on hard and variable snow thanks to its cambered side and sidewalls. It’s a quiver-killer for those who want high performance across all conditions—it rewards aggressive skiing without overwhelming lighter or more playful riders.
