Today, we are one of the fastest growing ski and snowboard shops in the US serving thousands of customers each season from coast to coast. As the company has grown, we’ve expanded in many ways: selling both new and used gear, offering in-store and online, providing affordable tuning and repair services, and catering to some niche areas of the sport like backcountry and touring gear. Role Overview: In this role, you will work full-time repairing, tuning and servicing skis and snowboards. This includes keeping our fleet of rental equipment in perfect working order, as well as servicing customer equipment. EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Role Responsibilities:
- Service & repair ski/snowboard equipment following specific guidelines
- Ability to safely operate a variety of tuning machines
- Ability to quickly identify a problem on a piece of equipment and the best solution to fix it
- Complete accurate workorders and professionally communicate with customers
- Adhere to strict safety protocols when working around machinery and chemicals
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in the service/tuning department of a high volume ski shop or resort
- Deep knowledge of of operating tuning machines, ensuring correct processes and procedures are followed
- Experience performing major repairs, including edge replacement, base patches, extensive PTEX/extrusion fixes, working with epoxy, as well as repairing ski and snowboard boots
When: This full-time position is ready to be filled immediately. This is a seasonal full-time position that will end on March 30 . Working hours are flexible, and we can accommodate late night or early morning hours with this position. If hired, you must be available to work occasional weekends and through our busy holiday season.
